Drag three shapes onto a 10 by 10 board and clear full rows and columns. No timer, no falling, a daily game, undo once, and your best score saved in this browser.
Block puzzle is a game where you drag shapes made of squares onto a 10 by 10 board and clear a row or column by filling every square in it. Each turn you get a tray of 3 shapes. You can place them in any order. Shapes never rotate and nothing falls, so you can think as long as you like: there is no timer. When all 3 shapes are down, a new tray of 3 arrives. The game ends when none of the shapes left in the tray fits anywhere on the board. A row and a column that fill at the same moment both clear, and the square where they cross counts once. Shapes range from a single square to a 5-square bar and a 3 by 3 block, and include L, T and zigzag shapes in every direction.
Each square you place scores 1 point. Clearing lines scores much more: 1 line is worth 10, 2 lines at once are worth 40 and 3 lines at once are worth 90, so clearing several at the same moment pays far better than one at a time. A combo builds when you clear lines on turns that follow each other: the second clear in a row adds 20, the third adds 40, and so on. A turn that clears nothing ends the combo. Emptying the whole board with a clear adds 100. For example, placing a 3-square bar that completes two columns at the end of a 3-turn combo scores 3 + 40 + 40 = 83 points. Your best score is saved in this browser, separately for classic and daily games.
Drag a shape from the tray onto the board with a mouse, a finger or a pen. On a touch screen the shape is drawn above your finger so you can see where it will land. While you drag, a ghost shows the squares it will fill, turns red when it does not fit, and outlines the rows and columns that would clear. If you prefer not to drag, tap a shape to pick it and then tap a spot on the board; the shape is centred on the square you tap. With a keyboard, press 1, 2 or 3 to pick a shape, use the arrow keys to move it, press Enter to place it and Escape to put it back. Each family of shapes has its own colour and its own inner pattern, so you never have to tell shapes apart by colour alone.
Classic mode deals random shapes and is saved as you play, so a refresh or a closed tab does not lose your game. Daily mode deals the same sequence of shapes to everyone who plays on the same date on their device, so you can compare scores with friends. Only your choices differ. The daily game counts once a day and keeps a daily streak. You can undo one move per game, which is enough to take back a slip, and the undo is also offered on the game over screen. There is no hint button, no ads in the game and no sign-in. Everything runs in your browser and nothing about your games is sent anywhere.
Keep the middle of the board open and build lines along the edges, so large shapes always have a place to go. Look at all 3 shapes before you place the first one, because the order often decides whether a line completes. Avoid leaving single empty squares surrounded by filled ones: only the single square fits in them. Save the 3 by 3 block and the 5-square bar for the moment they clear two or three lines together. When the board is almost full, count which of the three shapes can still be placed anywhere and place the hardest one first.
Fill every square of a row or a column of the 10 by 10 board. It clears at once and scores 10 points for one line, 40 for two lines at the same time and 90 for three. Rows and columns clear together when both fill on the same turn.
No. Shapes keep the direction they are dealt in, which is what makes planning matter. The set includes every turned and mirrored version of the L, T and zigzag shapes, so a shape you need often comes round in another tray.
The game ends when none of the shapes left in the tray fits anywhere on the board. A shape only has to fit in one spot to keep you going. After a game over you can undo your last move once, or start a new game.
Daily mode uses the date on your device, such as 2026-10-22, to deal the same sequence of trays to everyone. It counts once a day toward your daily streak, and the date is checked again when you return to the tab.
A combo counts turns in a row that clear at least one line. The second clear in a row adds 20 points, the third adds 40 and the fourth adds 60. A turn that clears nothing resets it to zero.
