Picks are made in your browser. The names and numbers you enter are not uploaded to make a pick.
Choose the picker by the question you are asking. Use the Wheel of Names when one name has to be chosen in front of a group, such as a raffle winner or who presents next: you add the names, spin, and everyone sees where it stops. Use Shuffle List when everybody needs a place in line, for example the order of speakers or a seating plan. It puts the whole list in a random order and lets you copy it. Use Team Maker to split a list of names into 2 to 10 teams that are as even in size as possible.
For numbers, Random Number gives you one or more numbers between a minimum and a maximum that you set, with or without repeats. Dice Roller rolls one or more six-sided dice and counts how often each face came up. Coin Flipper gives heads or tails, for one coin or several, when you have two options and need a quick call. The Magic 8-Ball answers a yes or no question with a line such as Yes or Outlook not so good. It is for fun, not for choices that matter.
Card Dealer shuffles a standard 52-card deck and draws one card or several, and it shows how many cards are left. Lottery Generator makes quick-pick numbers for the lottery game you choose. It cannot predict a draw, because every valid combination is as likely as any other. Stock Picker chooses a random ticker from a list, and by default it leaves out ETFs, preferred shares, warrants and units. It gives you a name to look up, not investment advice.
Not within one run, unless you allow it. Repeats are off by default, so a run of 10 numbers between 1 and 100 has no duplicates. Each new run starts fresh, so a number from an earlier run can come up again. Switch repeats on and a number can repeat inside one run too. You can ask for up to 50 numbers at a time.
From 2 to 10. You need at least as many names as teams. The names are shuffled and then dealt out one team at a time, so the teams differ in size by at most 1 person.
Use the Wheel of Names to draw a winner that the room can watch. If entrants hold numbered tickets, such as 1 to 200, Random Number draws a ticket number instead. For several prizes, draw all the winning numbers in one run with repeats off, so nobody wins twice; separate runs can pick the same ticket again.
No. It picks numbers at random, like a quick pick from a shop terminal. Every valid combination is equally likely, including 1 2 3 4 5 6, and nothing here changes the odds of a real draw.
