Games run in your browser. Sudoku and Bottle Brain can send a name and score to a public leaderboard if you choose to submit one, and Hangman fetches its words from an external word service.
These are small games you can start with one click. Sudoku comes in four grid sizes, 4 by 4, 6 by 6, 9 by 9 and 16 by 16, each with easy, medium and hard puzzles. Bottle Brain is a logic game: a hidden row of coloured bottles is fixed, you try an order, and each guess tells you how many bottles are in the right place. The easy level uses 4 bottles, medium 6 and hard 8, so the game gets harder with every level.
The Arcade page holds three quicker games, and each also has its own page. In Snake you steer a growing snake with the arrow keys to reach food without hitting a wall or your own tail. In Hangman you guess a hidden word one letter at a time, at easy, medium or hard difficulty. In Cascade you click a coloured orb to set off a chain reaction through matching neighbours. A game lasts ten rounds with five clicks in each, and your best score is kept in your browser.
It helps to know where your data goes. Playing needs no account. A Sudoku or Bottle Brain score is sent to the public leaderboard only when you choose to submit it, together with the name you type or Anonymous. In your browser's local storage on this device. It is not sent anywhere. It is still there after a reload, but it does not follow you to another phone or computer, and clearing site data removes it. Each game of 10 rounds can set a new best.
The easy level hides 4 bottles, medium hides 6 and hard hides 8. After each guess you see how many bottles are in the right place, so you work out the order from the clues.
Yes. When a round starts it asks an external word service for a word, with a length set by easy, medium or hard. If that request fails, it picks a word from a short built-in list. The other 4 games make no word request.
