See how many days, weeks and working days are left until a date or holiday. Runs on your device.
The page counts from today, taken from your device's clock, to the target date. Today is day 0 and the target day is counted, so tomorrow is 1 day away and a target that is today shows Today. The days are whole calendar days. Next to the number you get the same span in weeks and days, such as 11 weeks and 6 days for 83 days, the weekday of the target, and the target date written out and in ISO form. The page opens on Christmas Day, so it always shows a sensible number on load. If the date has already passed, the page says how many days ago it was, and the weeks and working days are counted back from today in the same way.
Working days count the days from Monday to Friday after today, up to and including the target day. They do not remove public holidays, because holidays differ by country and employer. For a count that uses a different weekend, such as Friday and Saturday, or that removes holidays you type in, use the business days calculator. The working days tile follows the same rule as the days: today is not counted and the target day is.
The chips cover holidays that fall on the same date every year: New Year's Day (1 January), Valentine's Day (14 February), Halloween (31 October), Christmas Day (25 December) and New Year's Eve (31 December). The page picks the next occurrence on or after today, so on 25 December the answer for Christmas Day is Today and on 26 December it is the 25 December of next year. Holidays that move, such as Easter, Diwali, Eid or US Thanksgiving, need the date typed in, because their dates change every year and differ by calendar. Choose Type a date and enter the day yourself. Dates from 0001 to 9999 are accepted.
No. Today is day 0, so tomorrow is 1 day away. The target day is counted. If the target is today the page shows Today instead of a number.
Choose Type a date and enter the date. Those holidays move from year to year, so the page only offers events that fall on the same date every year. Look the date up for the year you need and type it in.
The page shows how many days ago it was, for example 3 days ago, and gives the weeks and working days back from today to that date. Pick an event chip instead and the page jumps to the next occurrence.
No. Working days are the Monday to Friday days between today and the target, with the target counted. Holidays differ by country, so the tool does not know them. The business days calculator lets you type holidays and pick another weekend.
Use the date difference calculator, which counts years, months and days between two dates. This page gives days, weeks and working days from today. For a live clock that counts down in hours and seconds use the countdown timer.
