Aim and shoot coloured bubbles, match 3 or more to pop them and drop the rest. Levels or endless, a bounce guide, a swap, symbols for every colour, best score saved.
Bubble shooter is a game where you fire coloured bubbles from the bottom of the screen at a packed cluster above, and any group of 3 or more bubbles of the same colour that touch each other pops. Bubbles are packed in a honeycomb, so each one touches up to 6 others, and your shot sticks to the first bubble or the ceiling it meets. You can bounce a shot off the left and right walls to reach a spot you cannot hit straight on. A dotted guide shows the line to the first bounce. Bubbles that are no longer connected to the ceiling through other bubbles fall and score extra. Every few shots a new row is pushed in from the top. If any bubble reaches the dashed red line near the launcher, the game is over.
Levels mode asks you to clear every bubble. Level 1 starts with 5 rows and 3 colours, and a new row arrives every 8 shots. Later levels add rows and colours, up to 6 colours and 9 starting rows, and bring the new rows in faster, as often as every 5 shots. Endless mode uses 5 colours and a new row every 7 shots, and never ends until the stack reaches the line. Each popped bubble scores 10, with 5 extra for each bubble beyond the third, so a pop of 5 scores 60. Each bubble that drops scores 20. Popping on shots that follow each other builds a combo that adds 10 for each earlier pop in the streak. Clearing a level adds 200. Your best score is saved in this browser for each mode.
With a mouse, move the pointer to aim and click to shoot. On a touch screen, press and drag to aim, and lift your finger to shoot. The bubble waiting beside the launcher is the next one; tap it, press the Swap button or press X to swap it with the bubble you are about to shoot. With a keyboard, the Left and Right arrow keys aim, Space or Enter shoots and P pauses. Every colour also has its own shape drawn inside it: a circle, triangle, square, diamond, star or plus, so the game can be played without telling colours apart. The game pauses by itself when you switch to another tab, and resumes when you press Resume.
Aim for bubbles that hold up a large part of the cluster. Popping one near the ceiling can drop a whole hanging group, which scores 20 for each bubble. Use the wall bounce to reach colours that are hidden behind a bubble of another colour. Keep the swap in mind: if the next bubble matches a group better than the current one, swap before you shoot. Watch the Row in counter, which tells you how many shots remain before a new row is pushed in, and pop the lowest bubbles first when it is close to zero. Colours that no longer appear on the board are never dealt to you, so the last bubbles of a colour are always the ones you need.
3 or more bubbles of the same colour that touch each other pop together. A pop of 3 scores 30 points, a pop of 5 scores 60. Bubbles that lose their connection to the ceiling fall and score 20 each.
The dotted line shows where your shot will go, including one bounce off a side wall. Shots bounce at the same angle they arrive, like a ball. You can shoot at any angle up to 80 degrees from straight up.
In levels mode a new row is pushed in every 8 shots on level 1, down to every 5 shots on later levels. In endless mode it is every 7 shots. The Row in counter shows how many shots are left. You lose when a bubble reaches the red dashed line.
Yes. Each of the 6 colours has its own shape inside it: circle, triangle, square, diamond, star or plus. Match the shapes and you match the colours.
Swap exchanges the bubble in the launcher with the next one shown beside it. Tap the next bubble, use the Swap button or press X. It is free and unlimited, and it does not use up a shot, so it never brings a new row closer.
