Get a random truth or dare for kids, teens or adults. 120 clean prompts, no repeats, and a turn order for your players.
A truth or dare generator picks a random question to answer honestly (a truth) or a small challenge to do (a dare), so the game keeps going without anyone running out of ideas. This one holds 120 prompts that were written for it: three levels, Kids, Teens and Adults, each with 20 truths and 20 dares. Random chooses a truth or a dare for you; Truth and Dare ask for one kind only. Your browser's secure random source, when available, picks the prompt, so every prompt that is still on the list is equally likely. Nothing on the lists is sexual, nothing involves alcohol or drugs, and no dare is a stunt: every dare can be done indoors, on a clear floor, without touching another person, without a phone and without food or drink.
With No repeats on, the page does not show a prompt twice until all of them have been asked. It remembers by writing each prompt into the Already asked box below the players, which you can read and clear. At Kids with Random there are 40 prompts, 20 truths and 20 dares, so the 41st press shows a note and starts the list again. If you pick Truth only, there are 20 and the list starts again after 20. Clear empties the box and the players and starts the game fresh, and so does reloading the page: nothing is saved. Switching the level keeps the box, but only prompts of the level in use count as asked. Turn No repeats off to draw with replacement, so any prompt can come up twice in a row.
Type your players in the first box, one name per line, up to 50, and each result says whose turn it is, such as Dare for Ana. After every press the first name moves to the end of the list, so with Ana, Bo and Cy the turns run Ana, Bo, Cy, Ana and so on. A name is cut to 40 characters. The page does not check that players take turns fairly, track points or decide who refuses a prompt. Leave the box empty to play without turns and read the prompt to whoever is next. Names are not saved and not sent anywhere; they live in this tab until you reload it.
Kids is written for children who read or listen at primary-school age, Teens for older children, and Adults for grown-up parties, where it is still clean: embarrassing work stories, guilty pleasures and silly performances. The levels are a guide, not a rating, and the people playing know best what suits the group, so skip any prompt that does not. Anyone may pass on a truth or a dare. An adult should be nearby when children play. The tool has 120 English prompts and no way to add your own, so a long game will see them all more than once.
Choose Random, Truth or Dare and a level, add players one per line if you want turns, and press Get a prompt. The player named in the result reads the prompt out loud and answers or does it. Press Next prompt for the following player, who is the next name in the list.
Yes. The Kids level has 20 truths, such as what you would name a pet dragon, and 20 dares, such as walking like a crab across the room. None needs props, a phone or food, and an adult should still be nearby.
No repeats is on, so each prompt shown is written into the Already asked box and skipped until all 40 (for Random) have been asked. Turn it off under the level to draw with replacement, or clear the box to start the list again.
They were written to be: no climbing, no jumping off anything, no food or drink, no touching other people and no phone use. Examples are 10 jumping jacks, a robot voice until your next turn, or balancing a spoon on your nose. Clear some floor first, and skip anything that does not suit you.
No. The 120 prompts are fixed, 20 truths and 20 dares for each of the three levels. To pick from your own list of ideas, paste them into the random name picker, one per line, and draw one.
No. Prompts are chosen in your browser, in this tab, and no server receives your players or the Already asked list. Your level and No repeats choice are saved in this browser; the names and the list are not. Google Analytics counts visits and copy presses, never names.
