Pick one of six templates, fill in the name, text, date and signatures, add your logo, and download a PDF or PNG. Paste a list to make one page per name.
Each template is drawn in code from lines, rectangles, circles and stars: a classic double border, curved corners, a wave, a ring of dots, a key pattern and a dashed gift border. Nothing is copied artwork, and the shapes are the same in the preview, the PNG and the PDF. The text is set in Times and Helvetica. The title starts at 46 pt and the recipient name at 44 pt, and either shrinks only when it would be wider than the page allows. For example, Alexandria Montgomery-Fitzgerald is 644.9 pt wide at 44 pt in bold italic, which fits the 673.5 pt available on A4 landscape, while a 55-character name such as Dr. Alexandria Montgomery-Fitzgerald III of Westminster shrinks to 28 pt. The description starts at 19 pt and goes down to 9 pt to fit its space.
Landscape is the default, on A4 (841.89 by 595.28 points) or Letter (792 by 612). Portrait swaps the two sides and moves the text to suit. With no signature the date sits in the middle. With one, the date is on the left and the signature line on the right, and the Achievement and Award templates add a seal between them. With two, the signatures are left and right with the date in the middle, and the seal is left out to keep the row clear. A signature is a printed name and title under a line, so there is room above it to sign by hand. Leave the date empty to print no date line.
Turn on One certificate for each name in a list and paste names, one per line. Blank lines are skipped, spaces are tidied, duplicates are kept, and each name is cut to 80 characters. Up to 200 names are used, and a note says how many lines were left out. The PDF has one page per name, so 3 names make a 3-page PDF. The preview has Previous and Next buttons to check each page, and Download PNG saves the page you are looking at. Everything else on the page, such as the title, description, date and logo, is the same on every certificate.
The PDF uses the standard Times and Helvetica fonts, which print Latin letters, digits, accented letters and common punctuation. If any field or name has other characters, such as Greek, Chinese or emoji, the PDF button turns off and names the field, or the line numbers of the names list, that need to change. The PNG has no such limit because the browser draws it with its own fonts. A logo can be a PNG, JPG or WebP picture. It is shrunk to at most 600 pixels on its longer side, placed above the title and kept on your device. If the description is too long for its space, the end is cut and a note says so. The tool does not sign, number or verify certificates, so a printed certificate is only as official as the organisation that issues it.
Pick a template such as Certificate of Achievement, type the recipient, edit the description, and add the date. The preview updates as you type. Press Download PDF for a print-ready file on A4 or Letter, or Download PNG for an image.
Turn on One certificate for each name in a list, paste one name per line, and press Download PDF. A list of 30 names makes a 30-page PDF, one certificate per page. The limit is 200 names, and lines after that are left out.
Yes. Press Add a logo and choose a PNG, JPG or WebP file. It is placed above the title on every certificate, about 46 points high on A4 landscape, and kept on your device. Press Remove logo to take it off.
The PDF fonts print Latin letters, digits and common punctuation only. A name in Chinese, Greek or Arabic, or an emoji, turns the PDF off and the message names the field or the line number to change. Download PNG still works, because the browser draws the PNG with its own fonts.
Landscape A4 (841.89 by 595.28 points) or Letter (792 by 612) suits a standard certificate frame. Choose Portrait for a vertical frame or a gift voucher. Pick the size of the paper in your printer, because printing a page on the other size can scale or crop it.
No. The text is processed in your browser and not uploaded. The logo is read and shrunk in this tab, and the PDF is built on your device. Only your choices of template, colours, page and paper size are saved in this browser, never names, text or the logo.
